About Project Hope
Sharing Strength and Comfort
Project Hope is a heartfelt initiative of Success Charities, created to bring care, comfort, and a sense of hope to
those in our community who are currently battling cancer.
Now in its third year, Project Hope continues to grow — reaching more patients and families across San Luis Obispo County. What began as a small act of kindness has become one of our most meaningful outreach efforts.
Thanks to the incredible generosity shown during our Night of Hope fundraiser in June, Project Hope is fully funded for 2025. This allows us to focus entirely on what matters most: connecting with those who need comfort, encouragement, and a reminder that they are not alone.
Our 2025 Goal
To share Project Hope Cancer Care Totes with every individual in San Luis Obispo County who is facing cancer
offering comfort, encouragement, and a reminder that no one fights alone.
Each tote is a small act of compassion turned into action. A thoughtful gift meant to bring warmth, hope, and
strength to patients and families, one heart at a time.
What’s Inside Each Tote
Lovingly assembled by our volunteers, every Cancer Care Tote is filled with comforting and practical items such as:
- Cozy blanket and socks
- Journal and pen for reflection
- Herbal teas and soothing treats
- $50 gift card to a local restaurant or GrubHub
- Portable cell phone charger
- Seatbelt cover for comfort during travel to treatments
- Book or inspirational reading
- Stress balls and bath bombs
- Uplifting messages and more small surprises
Every detail is chosen to provide both comfort and convenience a tangible reminder that our community stands beside each person on their journey.

You can help by sharing this project with others. Tell a friend. Tag someone who might need a little extra comfort. Together, we can make sure no one in our community faces cancer alone.
